No secret that I love living in Plettenberg Bay / The Garden Route. “Handmade” wrote a great post about the realities of living and working in the Garden Route of South Africa (excerpt > head on over there to read the whole thing):

The Garden Route is in my opinion the best place to live in South Africa. Its a mind shift once you move down. Its almost as if the big city, after 6 months becomes this other planet where you used to live, but never had a life and for the life of you, you can’t imagine why and how you were fooled by the illusion that success is a big house, a car and a high paying job.
